60 Ideas for Europe

Sustainable development is something that is talked about, but action is often deficient. We need the EU to set a clear target of achieving a sustainable energy supply. This means that it is 100% renewable. This needs to be clearly stated and steps to reach this goal need to be specified. Long-term planning is not always easy for politicians who need to get re-elected after a few months or years. Setting long-term strategic goals helps to maintain the effort.
