To create a EU consciousness and therefore have the coming generation of adults fully involved within European events, it would be a great thing to generalise exchange programs at all educational levels. This would be one way of developing relations between citizens of EU. Such exchange could prepare children to going later on an Eramus exchange program, or at least it would give children who will not then attend University, the opportunity to visit another European country. School trips to visit another school could be considered as an efficient way of developing EU consciousness for primary, secondary schools as well as colleges.
Educational projects could be developed between schools just as it already exist in languages classes sometimes. Each school could have European partners schools with which they could organise trips, writing projects, such as pen friends.Author : EMI
